New Mexico’s Eco-Left Joins the Ranks of Economic Deniers

It’s difficult to tell if they’re intentionally misleading or if they really just don’t get it.

You might remember when our friends over at 350 New Mexico made the laughable claim that wind and solar have zero fuel cost to the environment.

Now just a few months later, they’re back with another one:

While it’s interesting to see the eco-left’s sudden concern for Wall Street, the economic reality of fracking is pretty easy to understand. In New Mexico, over $3 billion in revenue was delivered to the state making up 39 percent of the entire state budget…in a SINGLE year. All thanks to fracking.

Perhaps the economic wizards at 350 New Mexico are ready to tell every school teacher in the state that nearly 40 percent of their paycheck isn’t real. And while they’re at the school, perhaps they’ll set aside time for some remedial economics.
