The UN Wants To Get Meat Out Of Your Diet August 12, 2019 Do you like eating meat? Enjoy a burger or treating yourself to a nice steak? Well, the United Nations says it’s time for you to stop. A leaked report from the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) warns that eating meat is bad for the planet, and wants to force a “massive transition in land management and food consumption.” In other words, the UN wants to change your diet. “The special report on climate and land by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) describes plant-based diets as a major opportunity for mitigating and adapting to climate change ― and includes a policy recommendation to reduce meat consumption,” reports Nature. “We don’t want to tell people what to eat,” says an ecologist with the IPCC. “But it would indeed be beneficial, for both climate and human health, if people in many rich countries consumed less meat, and if politics would create appropriate incentives to that effect.” The UN won’t force the change themselves; they’ll just have countries do it for them. That’s not forcing people to change their diets at all! The eco-left wants to eliminate the modern amenities and foods that make life in the 21st century great. From cars to planes to hamburgers, modernity must be sacrificed to please the environmental movement. Enough is enough. Enjoy your hamburger and live your life. United Nations Back to Blog Posts
