States Fight Back Against Biden’s War on Gas Cars

April 25, 2024

A coalition of 25 state attorney generals have filed a legal challenge against the Biden Administration’s “unworkable emissions standards” on passenger vehicles and medium-duty vehicles.

Fox News reports,

“Led by Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman and West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, the coalition filed a challenge against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, asking the court to declare the new rules unlawful. According to the filing, the EPA regulations impose “unworkable emissions standards” on passenger cars and medium-duty vehicles.”

Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman said,

“Conservative attorneys general are slamming the brakes on President Biden’s radical green agenda that is using the weight of the federal government to force expensive EVs on families, workers and farmers…We’re taking President Biden’s EPA to court to block this latest big-government mandate and protect the free market.”

This action by Biden’s EPA is nothing more than an attempt to force Americans to purchase electric vehicles— vehicles that Americans have made clear they do not want. President Biden has shown what his priorities are. He would much rather support his eco-left mega-donors than hard-working American families.
