Senator Martin Heinrich: Detached from Reality

As the hearings for the nomination of Deb Haaland got underway this week, it’s clear New Mexico Senator Martin Heinrich is detached from the reality going on in the state he represents.

During the hearing, Heinrich claimed Joe Biden’s executive orders have not cost New Mexico jobs – an outrageous claim that his own party knows is false.

In a letter earlier this month, the New Mexico Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department in the Michelle Lujan Grisham Administration told the Biden administration New Mexico is already losing oil rigs to Texas due to Biden’s orders. No doubt there are job losses too.

Either Senator Heinrich doesn’t know what’s going on in his own state, or he’s intentionally misleading everyone.
