Senator Martin Heinrich Celebrates Eco-Left Wish List Because He Can’t Pass a Law

May 21, 2021

New Mexico Senator Martin Heinrich wants you to know he’s very proud of his latest effort to appease the eco-left.  You should be impressed that Senator Heinrich’s leadership skills have delivered a proposed resolution that is supported by a whopping 14 percent of the US Senate.

If this picture, included in his press release email, doesn’t show the massive support for his efforts, we don’t know what does.

We actually took the time to read Heinrich’s bloated wish-list to save you the time and what we found was a radical green wish list that would never pass Congress. Just like many of the proposals brought forth by the eco-left, this one simply offers hopes and dreams for their utopia. For example:

The United States must seize the opportunity to create millions of jobs, become a net exporter of clean energy, and secure a better, more equitable future by accelerating the electrification of households, buildings, and businesses in the United States, modernizing the United States electricity grid, and continuing on the path towards decarbonizing electricity generation in the United States by 2035.

The fact of the matter is Senator Heinrich is celebrating an effort that does absolutely nothing. Heinrich has not introduced a bill, he’s introduced a “simple resolution.” If it passes the Senate, it will never be voted on in the House, and it will never be signed by the President.

And that’s why Senator Heinrich wants you to know he’s very busy with something that will never be a law.
