What does the future of energy look like?  A recent forecast by the International Energy Agency predicts that by 2023 America will be exporting up to 5 million barrels of oil a day. This is a steady revenue stream, and it also has the effect of helping us on the international scene, neutering Russian hegemony and helping contain Chinese dreams of global domination.

“Fields of green and red roses, too” make for a wonderful world, but leaving aside the beauty of music for the ugliness of actuality, a wonderful world is one where American allies aren’t threatened by Putin.  A wonderful world is one where Israel can chuckle at a bankrupt Iran and where the people of Venezuela take their country back from the socialist overlords.

All of this is possible when oil becomes increasingly abundant and inexpensive.  And that is possible if we continue on this current trajectory of Energy Dominance.
