New Mexico’s Energy Workers Power the Fight Against Coronavirus While the Eco-Left is Absent

March 18, 2020

As our state settles in to fight the Coronavirus, New Mexico’s energy workers are delivering what the radical environmental community never will: results.

Let’s just take a moment to talk about some of the things New Mexican’s now rely on to get through the next few weeks and how they would be impossible without the fossil fuel industry:

  • Meals for children
  • Power for Hospitals and medical clinics
  • Gas for cars to pick up food or go to the doctor
  • Revenue from the energy industry to fund government response efforts.

The Sierra Club? Natural Resources Defense Council? The San Juan Citizens Alliance? They are nowhere to be found at a time when New Mexicans are dealing with a public health emergency.

It should be noted, the weather for much of New Mexico today calls for clouds. Thanks to New Mexico’s energy workers, families don’t need to wait for the sun to start shining before deciding if they can see a doctor.

In a crisis, it’s New Mexico’s energy workers who show up to make a difference.

You’re fracking welcome.
