Today, Zeldin released a bold plan “Powering the Great American Comeback” that makes it clear that the Biden-era regulatory strangulation are over, and the era of energy dominance has arrived.

For four years, the Biden administration crippled American energy production while outsourcing our energy security to foreign adversaries. Zeldin isn’t wasting any time undoing the damage. One of the pillars of the plan commits the EPA to, “Restore American Energy Dominance,” and outlines exactly what’s needed: cutting energy costs, ending reliance on hostile nations, and unleashing the full potential of American fossil fuels. The press release states:

“Pursuing energy independence and energy dominance will cut energy costs for everyday Americans who are simply trying to heat their homes and put gas in their cars.”

Additionally, Biden’s radical push for EV mandates and forced electrification crushed American auto workers while benefiting China’s supply chain. Under Zeldin, that’s changing. His plan to bring back American auto jobs means ending costly regulations, supporting domestic manufacturing, and prioritizing consumer choice—not government mandates. The press release continues:
