Greta Thunberg Doomsday Prediction Comes and Goes

Today marks another impressive feat of human survivability and resistance: we have survived yet another Great Thunberg prediction of the fall of humanity. Thunberg has been an outspoken proponent of green technology and has repeatedly made headlines for making outlandish claims about the impact of fossil fuels. Five years ago today, Thunberg tweeted:

“A top climate scientist is warning that climate change will wipe out all of humanity unless we stop using fossil fuels over the next five years.”

Thunberg has since deleted this tweet, which is just the latest of many eco-left climate predictions that have proven false after repeatedly making audacious and unsubstantiated claims about the impact of fossil fuels. Not only are these claims embarrassing and wildly inaccurate, but many people on the left take her word as the gospel. With the left holding her in such high regard, one could be forgiven for thinking she is an expert on the subject but remember that she does not even have the equivalent of a high-school degree. Her claims misguide Americans’ views on the energy sector and harm American economic prosperity and job availability. While yet another doomsday prediction has come and gone, keep this in mind as the left continues to rave about the impending end of times to try to drive Americans against our energy sector.
