George Soros-Funded and White House-Linked Enviro Group Openly Pushes for Ending the Use of Gasoline December 6, 2022 A George Soros-funded organization with ties to the Biden administration is advocating for the White House to ramp up its war on American fossil energy by curbing the use and distribution of gasoline. Fox News reports, “Governing for Impact (GFI), a secretive George Soros-funded group which has advised the Biden administration, issued a memo to policymakers on how to curb gasoline usage. The GFI memo argues that the Clean Air Act provides the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with the authority to control, or even prohibit, the commercial sale of any motor vehicle fuel. The memo, which was assembled with climate group Evergreen Collaborative, also argued the agency could force gas stations to build electric vehicle charging stations on their property.” The memo argues that the Biden administration could use its authority and stretch authorities given by laws to force gas stations to slow or even stop the sale of gasoline and diesel for vehicles. The secretive group boasts that it has played a key role in Biden’s war on American energy. Fox News continues, “GFI, founded in 2019, remained in the shadows until an April Fox News Digital report regarding its behind-the-scenes work with the Biden administration after being alerted by the Capital Research Center’s Parker Thayer. In internal memos, GFI boasted of implementing more than 20 of its regulatory agenda items as they work to reverse Trump-era deregulations.” These extreme enviro groups are feeling more and more emboldened with Biden in the White House and are now making their demands clear. They want to Biden to lurch further to the left and punish the American people more by killing American oil jobs and spiking energy prices. Back to Blog Posts
