EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin Finds Biden’s “Gold Bars” February 13, 2025 In December, a political appointee of the Biden-Harris administration’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) boasted about getting money out as fast as possible before a new administration took over, stating, “It’s like we’re on the Titanic, and we’re throwing gold bars off the edge.” Now, with Lee Zeldin leading the EPA, those “gold bars” have been found. Zeldin’s EPA located $20 billion in tax dollars that the Biden-Harris administration purposely wasted. Fox News reports, “Zeldin said the EPA has plans to recover the “gold bars” that were found “parked at an outside financial institution,” which he does not mention by name. He said that “this scheme was the first of its kind in EPA history, and it was purposefully designed to obligate all the money in a rush job with reduced oversight” before Inauguration Day.” According to Zeldin, the $20 billion payout was funneled to eight different entities that would then award the dollars at their own discretion, all designed to hide the final destination of the funds. “This is not a mistake by the Biden Administration, this is a deliberate scheme to defraud taxpayers and funnel public money to their allies in the eco-left,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “We congratulate Administrator Zeldin for investigating this dirty scheme and uncovering the truth. This was a taxpayer-funded slush fund designed to help Biden’s political allies and deceive the public. Those responsible for throwing these ‘gold bars off the Titanic’ need to be identified and held to account by Congress.” Back to Blog Posts
