Even after it was blocked in court, the administration still hasn’t lifted the ban. This backward approach didn’t just hit our economy and job market—it emboldened our adversaries and left our allies in the cold. Cutting off our LNG from global markets only handed leverage to foreign producers, many of whom operate without America’s rigorous environmental standards.

Energy abundance is a strategic advantage for the United States. By exporting LNG, we don’t just lift up our own economy with new jobs and higher wages, but we also bolster our allies abroad, offering them a reliable, affordable alternative to hostile regimes looking to hold them hostage over energy supplies. Unleashing LNG exports can stabilize global energy prices and keep American energy workers employed.
