After Campaigning for Biden, New Mexico Governor wants Exception from His Orders

Joe Biden is doing exactly what he promised to do, so why is New Mexico’s Governor trying to escape his orders?

During Joe Biden’s campaign for President, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham participated in more than a few fundraisers loudly proclaiming her support for his energy plan. Now, less than two months into Biden’s Presidency, Lujan Grisham is seeking an exception to his disastrous energy orders.

Lujan Grisham’s acknowledgment that Biden’s orders are harmful to New Mexico is helpful, but it’s clear Joe Biden is attacking the energy industry just as he promised during his campaign. That’s why it is baffling, and more than a little hypocritical, to see Lujan Grisham seek shelter from Biden’s orders after being one of his biggest advocates.
