Power The Future Energy Policy Roadmap 2025

Today, Power The Future unveiled its comprehensive 2025 Energy Policy Roadmap. As an advocate for American energy workers, we are launching this initiative to serve as a strategic blueprint for returning our country to energy independence and setting the stage for energy dominance. Domestic energy production is undoubtedly critical in bolstering economic growth, safeguarding national security, and reinforcing environmental responsibility. 

“With our long, national energy nightmare coming to an end, this roadmap provides the essential first steps to securing America’s energy future,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future. “This roadmap not only lays out the challenges we face after four years of Joe Biden’s failures, but provides real solutions to restore our economic strength, lower prices, and boost our national security.” 

The 2025 Energy Policy Roadmap includes 10 actions the 119th Congress and the Trump Administration can start immediately. They include:

Repeal Joe Biden’s Natural Gas Tax – Buried in the failed Inflation Reduction Act is a measure Biden called the “Waste Emissions Charge.” The reality is that it’s a charge on the production of natural gas that families will begin to pay this winter. 

Don’t Make America Bend to California’s Electric Vehicle Mandates – Americans, don’t want electric vehicles (EV) forced on them and that’s why Congress must repeal Section 177 of the Clean Air Act. This little-known waiver allows California to set standards out-of-touch with federal guidelines and forces other states to follow.

Press “Play” and End Joe Biden’s Natural Gas Pause – In January of 2024, the Biden Administration handed down a “temporary” pause in American liquified natural gas exports. This ensures less jobs at home and that other nations must turn to countries like Russia to stay warm this winter.

Eliminate the Climate Corps and Federal Climate Offices – Green New Dealers in Congress and the Biden Administration have established outposts proselytizing their doomsday climate crisis dogma at agencies across the federal government. Each one must be closed on day one.
