Green Pro Quo: Biden Receives Reelection Endorsements of Extreme Eco-left

This week Four of America’s most prominent environmental activist groups endorsed the re-election of President Biden. As we slowly inch closer towards election day, these endorsements come in a timely manner; less than one year ago, President Biden approved a $370 billion package to fund projects these groups execute. During the 2020 election, eco-left activist groups spent almost $50 million supporting Biden’s campaign, and Wednesday’s actions demonstrate that they are preparing to do the same in 2024. 

“This early endorsement once again confirms what we already knew: Joe Biden is a loyal puppet of the green movement,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “Biden is shoveling record amounts of our money to these groups and their friends, who then turn around and throw their support behind his campaign. The arrangement should make all of us wonder how much of our cash will end up in Biden’s campaign coffers. Joe Biden declared war on American energy, his friends got a huge payday and now they are returning the favor.”

Biden’s recent actions are no surprise; he is gearing up for what will likely be an extremely competitive 2024 election, and he will undoubtedly need all the help he can get. This relationship between the Biden Administration and the extreme eco-left is symbiotic; each party involved thrives off of the support from the other. The Biden Administration’s actions once again act against the interests of our nation’s economy by continuously attempting to suppress the energy industry, something that will certainly haunt this country in the long run if it persists.
