California Continues to Show Off Green Energy Failure

California’s families are preparing for another night of “Flex Alerts.” Meaning thermostats should be set to 78 degrees, avoid using large appliances, and no charging the electric vehicles Governor Newsom likes so much.

Unfortunately, the Biden Administration considers California the green leader for the rest of the country,  with Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm praising how innovative California’s green energy policies are. Just days after, California issued an energy emergency alert, telling customers to prepare for power outages.  

The Daily Caller reports on Secretary Granholm’s recent comments:

“I love the fact that California is unabashedly bold about (green) energy policy,” Granholm stated, calling the state as a green “leader” for the rest of the country. “California’s boldness has … shaped our willingness in the federal government to move further and faster,” she said of California’s green energy policies.

Power The Future Executive Director Daniel Turner discusses California’s self-manufactured failure: 

“This is a man-made energy failure and the blame lies squarely with President Biden, Governor Newsom and every other proponent of this green failure. California is the poster child of the green movement and the state’s struggling families are paying the price. Make no mistake, the lights will stay on in the Governor’s mansion, Silicon Valley and Hollywood but not in working-class neighborhoods because those who pushed this failure always unplug from the consequences. California’s power failures are nothing less than pure insanity that should be shunned, instead President Biden wants to export them to every state.”
