Biden’s Skyrocketing Prices and Free-Falling Poll Numbers

Approval polls are not looking pretty for President Biden these days and it’s no wonder why. With Americans struggling with the highest inflation rate in 40 years and skyrocketing gas prices from coast to coast, people are fed up. Today, the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is $4.33 according to AAA. The American people are blaming President Biden and his administration’s punishing policies for all of it.

According to new polling from ABC News/IPSOS, 58 percent of Americans disapprove of the president’s handling of the economic recovery and a staggering 70 percent disapprove of the job he has done on gas prices and inflation.

Another poll from HarrisX that was shared with Newsweek shows a clear signal that the American people want the president to change course on his climate change agenda. Newsweek writes:

“The HarrisX poll asked voters, ‘In light of Russia’s attack on Ukraine and soaring gasoline prices, should the Biden administration ease its focus on climate change and allow more oil and natural gas exploration in the U.S. or not?’

Sixty-nine percent answered ‘yes’ to the question while 31 percent said ‘no.’ Even members of Biden’s party, the Democrats, answered ‘yes’ more often than ‘no,’ 53 percent to 47 percent. Only 14 percent of Republicans did not want more exploration while just 30 percent of independents said ‘no.’”

Finally, a new CBS News/You Gov poll shows the American people want President Biden to end his war on American energy and start ramping up production. A whopping 63 percent of respondents said it was time to increase oil and gas production in the U.S. CBS writes:

“In response to the gas price increase, a big majority want to ramp up U.S. oil production — this finds favor among most Republicans and independents and half of Democrats, too.”

The American people have had enough of President Biden’s crusade against American energy workers. They know his policies are to blame for the staggering prices they are seeing at the pump and the grocery store. If President Biden doesn’t listen soon and change course, those prices will only climb and his poll numbers will continue to free-fall.
