American Energy is Fueling the Holiday Season

As Americans celebrate the holiday season, we remember the important role that American energy plays in the festivities. It may be the gasoline fueling a trip home, or the new electronic toys that the kids are eager to plug in. It may be the turkey or roast cooking in the gas oven, or the electric lights strung around the Christmas tree. There are hundreds of ways that energy touches our lives, particularly during the holiday season.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing women and men who make up the American energy industry. More than 6.8 million Americans work in the traditional energy and energy efficiency sector. These are the folks we need to thank for keeping our homes heated and our vehicles running. So, as you’re out and about celebrating these next two weeks, take a moment to remember and give thanks to the people who help make it possible.
