Suing Hollywood and the Greens

The Dakota Access Pipeline – or DAPL – was the cool thing to protest in 2016.  Long before the weekly protests of the Trump Administration, green activists had everything they wanted in the White House: an ideologue president with an activist Executive Order pen and an EPA full of energy-hating bureaucrats.  DAPL gave them the chance to do something they had been so missing: protests.

And protest they did!  With washed up politicians like Jill Stein and Wesley Clark, Hollywood celebrities like Ben Affleck, Leonardo DiCaprio, Susan Sarandon, Mark Ruffalo and Shailene Woodley all took up the cause.  Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the new hero of the socialists who struggles with basic economics, foreign policy, and energy knowledge sites this protest as her impetus for public office.

If that wasn’t enough garbage to come out of the DAPL protests, what about real garbage?  Tons and tons of garbage. 48 million pounds of it.

So much for reduce, reuse and recycle…

Not just garbage.  Puppies.

Yes, you read that correctly.  Abandoned puppies.

Now the Attorney General of North Dakota is suing to get his state’s reimbursement for the cleanup. After all- these people came in, made a mess, and left.  Why should the locals have to pay?

But that’s how the environmental left works.  Just as we document in Steyerville.com, the environmentalists never worry about the consequences of their actions even when it’s poverty, unemployment, opioid use, or in the case of DAPL, millions of dollars in clean-up and abandoned puppies.

We wish the AG good luck in his lawsuit- but rather than sue the Army Corp of Engineers (who manage the land where the protest camps happened), we encourage him to sue those politicians who championed the protests, those green groups like Sierra Club and NRDC who supported the protests, and those advocacy groups like the ACLU who defended the protests.

Most of all the AG should sue those phonies from Hollywood.  Just because they deserve it.
