The Eco-Left Is Hell-Bent on Destroying the American Energy Industry

In recent weeks, Democratic presidential candidates have been pledging to ban fracking nationwide.

The Washington Times reported:

House Democrats blocked Tuesday consideration of a resolution in support of hydraulic fracturing as Republicans sought to protect the U.S. energy boom from Democratic presidential candidates seeking to ban fracking nationwide.

The resolution, sponsored by Rep. Rob Bishop, Utah Republican, affirmed that states should “maintain primacy for the regulation of hydraulic fracturing for oil and natural gas production on State and private lands,” and that no president should impose a moratorium without congressional approval.

What the left fails to see is that this resolution would protect American jobs and the energy boom.

A report from the US Chamber of Commerce found that a fracking ban could “destroy more than 14 million jobs, all while raising costs for families and considerably reducing American energy security.”

It’s simple, the numbers don’t add up.

A nationwide ban of fracking would take away 14 million jobs while the cost of living skyrockets for every American.
