While Unemployment and Gas Prices Skyrocket, New Mexico’s Eco-Left Pushes for More

New Mexico’s working families are struggling, and the state’s radical environmentalists are fighting to make it worse.

Just this week, newly released unemployment numbers show New Mexico ranks #48 in the nation for jobs. In fact, if you look at the worst states for unemployment, you’ll notice New Mexico is joined by fellow eco-left supporters New York and California.

As working families struggle to make ends meet, many are pointing out Joe Biden’s actions are directly tied to increasing gas prices all over the country. In fact, the cost of gas in New Mexico is up nearly 36 percent over this time last year and up nearly 17 percent in just the last month.

At the same time, New Mexico’s eco-left and their allies in Santa Fe are pushing new fuel standards that would tack on another 5 percent increase in the cost of gas. Why? You’ll have to ask them, but it’s definitely not because they care about working families.

While so many New Mexicans are looking for work and trying to pay higher gas prices, radical environmentalists are doubling down on the pain.
