One Question for Joe Biden’s Supporters in New Mexico

The Joe Biden Campaign was proud to roll out a list of more than 40 New Mexico Democrats who waited until he was the presumptive nominee to endorse his candidacy.

However, there’s one question none of them have answered: Why do they support a candidate who wants to further destroy New Mexico’s economy?

During the final Biden-Sanders debate, the former Vice President was working hard to flash his green agenda cred when he told the world:

“Number one, no more subsidies for fossil fuel industry,” Biden said at the debate. “No more drilling on federal lands. No more drilling, including offshore. No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill, period, ends, number one.”

Well over 30 percent of New Mexico is federal land and removing all of it from production, in addition to banning all drilling, would further kill New Mexico’s economy. The Land of Enchantment depends on oil and natural gas for nearly 40 percent of the entire state budget.

Just when the state would begin to fight back from a worldwide pandemic, there is no doubt a Biden presidency would double-down on the economic catastrophe.

The only New Mexico leader asked to respond to Biden’s comments was Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham…and she declined to comment.

So far, every other leader who has endorsed Biden gets a free pass when it comes to answering for his disastrous energy plans.
