New Mexico’s Radical Eco-Left Governor Among the Nation’s Least Popular

Newly released polling shows New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s approval rate at 48 percent, ranking her among the least popular governors in the country. New Mexicans are not thrilled with her extreme environmental agenda.

Since taking office, Governor Lujan Grisham has unapologetically implemented a radical green agenda to undermine the energy workers in her state who deliver billions to the state budget. Not only has Lujan Grisham passed her own version of the Green New Deal leading to the threat of blackouts this summer, but she has also told other eco-left governors “we need to transition out of fossil fuels.”

“This approval rate is shocking in that it’s so high,” said Larry Behrens, Communications Director for Power The Future. “New Mexico is the state with the worst unemployment in the nation while at the same time families are struggling to pay skyrocketing bills brought on by her policies. The Governor can try to continue masquerading as a moderate, but it’s clear New Mexicans don’t approve of her radical agenda.”
