Louisiana Elects Pro-Energy Governor October 16, 2023 Louisiana has elected a new governor. Former Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry (R) was declared the winner Saturday. Governor-elect Landry received enough support so that a run-off race would not be needed. Landry is an advocate for American energy independence. During his time as the state’s attorney general, he stood up for domestic energy production and led a coalition against Joe Biden’s continued attack on American Energy. We are glad to see someone who knows how crucial domestic energy production is in the governor’s mansion. Power The Future Founder Daniel Turner applauds Governor-elect Landry, “Louisiana is a critical state if we are going to regain American energy independence, and the voters there have sent a clear message in rejecting Joe Biden’s green agenda. We’re proud to congratulate Governor-elect Landry, who campaigned on strengthening Louisiana’s economy by supporting affordable and reliable energy. Hopefully, this victory for energy in Louisiana is the first of many because the 2024 election will be the most important in a generation and energy is on the ballot. Back to Blog Posts
