John Kerry Praises China for Doing “Incredible Job” Embracing Green Agenda July 18, 2023 This week Biden’s climate czar John Kerry is visiting China to discuss climate change with the Chinese Communist Party. China is the world’s largest emitter of greenhouse gas pollution and is also known for using child labor when producing materials for green energy technologies. Kerry praised communist leaders and their clean energy work. The Daily Caller reports, “Kerry said that the CCP is doing an “incredible job” with its green energy initiatives, including solar panel manufacturing, during his visit to Beijing, according to The Washington Post. Beyond allegations of Uyghur slave labor use in solar panel manufacturing, the CCP uses child labor in mines essential to the green energy supply chain and oversees an economy which emitted almost twice as much carbon dioxide as the U.S. in 2021, according to Investopedia data.” Kerry failed to mention the human rights violations that occur daily in communist China. Biden’s administration looks pretty comfortable traveling to China and showing them praise. Less than two weeks ago, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s had an awkward visit. “The Biden Administration will parade leaders through Communist China on a regular basis, but not one of them will reach out to support the American energy industry here at home that powers our country without using slave labor,” said Larry Behrens, Communications Director for Power The Future. “The Chinese Communist Party has made it their mission to supplant America as the world’s economic superpower, and sadly our politicians are assisting their effort by kneecapping our domestic energy producers. John Kerry jetting around the world to praise our adversaries is the latest data point on the green agenda ignoring reality at every level.” Back to Blog Posts
