Is The Far Left Plotting To Take Out Incumbents With The Green New Deal? July 15, 2019 While Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “Green New Deal” has become a national laughingstock, some corners of the political world are standing by the fanatical plan. In fact, recent polling from Business Insider found that a plurality of left-wing primary voters prefer a Green New Deal-like plan that would force “net-zero carbon emissions by 2030 by any means necessary.” Yes, they want an extreme plan that would force the eco-left’s will on the country by “any means necessary.” And there are growing reports that the far left plans to use this to their advantage to oust longtime incumbents, just as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did to Rep. Joe Crowley in 2018. CBS News reports that the AOC-aligned radical left is planning an operation to oust three New York members of Congress, and that the far left’s dream of a “Green New Deal” will be part of the campaign. “Mondaire Jones, a 32-year-old who worked in the Obama Justice Department, is challenging [Rep. Nita] Lowey, the chair of the House Appropriations Committee,” reported CBS News. “Jones supports many ideas that have been championed by Ocasio-Cortez, like Medicare for All, a $15 minimum wage and the Green New Deal.” Ousting incumbents is the only move the eco-left has if they want to pass the “Green New Deal.” They know that Nancy Pelosi wisely has not succumbed to AOC’s crazy plans and antics. Replacing incumbents with environmental extremists would give the eco-left more power. Time will tell if this strategy works for the eco-left. Regardless, we’ll be here to defend American jobs and stand up for a strong economic future. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Green New Deal Back to Blog Posts
