Is Radical Green Agenda the Reason for New Mexico Governor’s Low Approval? February 3, 2020 The reason you won’t hear New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham bragging about her approval numbers is likely because they’re not something the administration wants to highlight. According to Morning Consult, Governor Lujan Grisham ended 2019 with an approval rating of 44 percent. The end-of-the-year approval ratings are only part of the problem for Governor Lujan. A poll conducted by Emerson College in early January 2020 put Lujan Grisham’s approval at a dismal 38 percent. In fact, when you look at Governor Lujan Grisham’s approval over the last four months, you see a drastic 9-point drop. The question many are asking is: why? Perhaps her support of the radical green agenda provides the answer. Governor Lujan Grisham supported the disastrous Energy Transition Act, forced arbitrary car standards and traveled to New York City to take a bow for her eco-left agenda. All of this in a state where the energy industry provides over 100,000 jobs and enough revenue to make up nearly 40 percent of the entire state budget. When one wonders why the approval ratings are so low, perhaps an eco-left agenda is to blame. Michelle Lujan Grisham New Mexico Back to Blog Posts
