Throughout Biden’s presidency set the record for the highest gas prices. In May 2022, the national average cost for a gallon of regular gasoline is $4.37, and for diesel, it’s $5.55. Both of those figures are record highs. Gas prices have fluctuated throughout his administration, but one thing is certain: the prices are too high, and they don’t have to be. Biden’s relentless war on American energy has resulted in less supply and less investment. That all amounts to high prices for families across the country. As an early holiday gift to all, Biden could start by bringing back American energy independence. The American people want and need American energy.
