Bipartisan Lawmakers: New Eco-Left Rule Will Cost New Mexico $730 Million

Following the green agenda comes at a price, and for New Mexico that price is nearly three-quarters of a billion dollars.

That’s the price tag for new eco-left regulations put forth by New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham. A study conducted by the bipartisan Legislative Finance Committee revealed it would cost the state $730 million in lost revenue.

Now, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are asking tough questions about whether or not the administration considered the massive economic impact of new regulations. So far, it appears the answer is clear: they did not.
