As the fight rages on over who is the winner of the 2020 Presidential election, New Mexicans join the rest of the country in waiting for the final result. On one hand, the re-election of President Trump would be a boost to the state’s energy workers. These are the same workers who delivered huge production and a massive budget surplus in 2018. The pro-energy policies of President Trump have made America energy independent and improved the outlook for the state’s energy workers. A study from earlier this year showed New Mexico stands to lose 62,000 jobs and over $1 billion in revenue if such a ban is put in place. So now New Mexico joins the rest of the country in waiting through this overtime. However, one thing is for certain, the workers laboring to continue to count the votes can rely on energy workers to deliver the power they need…on time. New Mexico Back to Blog Posts
