Biden Did That! Today’s Gas Prices Up 75% From Two Years Ago

This week, the average gas price per gallon in the United States is $3.536, a 75% increase from this week’s price in 2020, $2.02. The Biden Administration’s attacks on natural gas and oil production continue to harm the average consumer. 

States like California, with extreme regulations and high taxes, are seeing average prices well above $5. When politicians and bureaucrats needlessly attack the energy sector, real people see real high prices.

Meanwhile, states with energy-friendly policies, like Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, are seeing lower prices despite the federal government’s efforts to harm the energy sector. 

This data reflects a concerning trend in the United States. Progressive, anti-energy policies harm consumers at the pump. The only way to ensure that Americans are not needlessly overpaying for gas is to elect politicians who advocate and defend one of our nation’s most critical industries, energy.
