Power The Future Unrolls List Of “Top 10 Eco Tools”

Earlier this week, the Sierra Club announced their “Fossil Fools” 2018 campaign highlighting some of their top targets. Here at Power the Future, we decided to put together our own list of the most outrageous leftists who don’t know the first thing about energy workers, let alone economics. We’re calling it our list of “Eco Tools.”

You’ll notice a common theme in the list: moving to 100 percent renewable energy sources by a date in the near future. This idea is as costly as it is unrealistic. Not only that, the misguided efforts to enforce this drastic change on Americans would leave countless energy workers in its wake. They’ll be left out of work and out of luck.

Here are our top 10 “Eco Tools”:

1.Tom Steyer
Tom Steyer backed a bill in California That Would Require The State To Generate 100 Percent Of Its Energy From Renewable Energy By 2045. Not to mention, he is weaponizing his fortune to make sure Democrats around the country toe his ideological line on environmental issues.

2. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Ocasio-Cortez’s Wants The Energy Used In The United States To Be 100 Percent Renewable By 2035. This is just one of many misguided statements that show Ocasio-Cortez’ well documented ignorance on policy issues.

3. Elizabeth Warren
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) Co-Sponsored A Senate Resolution Which Called For Generating 100 Percent Of Electricity Consumed In The United States From Renewable Sources By 2050. Warren is notorious for her far-left positions, regardless of how tone deaf they may be, and this is no different.

4. Gavin Newsom
Should He Be Elected Governor, Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) Has Pledged To Issue A Directive On His First Day In Office To Put California On A Path To 100 Percent Renewable Energy. Newsom is trying to score political points, but his supporters will soon learn that lofty campaign promises inevitably have a head-on collision with reality.

5. Cory Booker
In 2017, Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) Introduced Legislation That Would Transition The United States To 100 Percent Clean And Renewable Energy By 2050 At The Latest. Booker is simply making his latest attempt to please the far-left wing before his potential run for president in 2020.

6. Bernie Sanders
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) Co-Sponsored A Senate Resolution Which Called For Generating 100 Percent Of Electricity Consumed In The United States From Renewable Sources By 2050. The Democratic socialist is known for promising everything under the sun without any tether to the economic realities of his promises. More of the same.

7. Andrew Gillum
Andrew Gillum, The Democratic Gubernatorial Nominee In Florida, Supports An Energy Plan To Transition Florida To “Clean Energy As Rapidly As Possible” And Put Florida On A Path To A “Completely Clean Energy Economy,” which is simply eco activist rhetoric for attacking oil and gas. This is quite an interesting claim considering Gillum voted for a coal power plant in Florida during his time as Tallahassee city commissioner in 2005.

8. Jay Inslee
Gov. Jay Inslee (D-WA) Is Pushing For Washington State Voters To Adopt A Carbon Tax In A Ballot Initiative This Year Despite One Being Rejected By Voters In 2016.

9. Michael Bloomberg
In 2017, Former New York City
Mayor Michael Bloomberg (I) Announced He Would Spend $64 Million On The Beyond Coal Campaign In The United States And $50 Million On A Global Effort To Move Other Nations Away From Using Coal.

10. Jeff Merkley
In 2017, Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) Introduced Legislation That Would Transition The United States To 100 Percent Clean And Renewable Energy By 2050 At The Latest.
