Senator Heinrich Thinks Families Pay Too Little for Gas and Heat

New Mexico Senator, and Maryland resident, Martin Heinrich owes a lot to the environmental lobby. In fact, environmental groups are the biggest donor to Heinrich’s campaign, so his latest announcement should come as no surprise.

Heinrich responded to a letter from environmental groups where he threw his support behind ending subsidies for oil and natural gas companies. Given that Heinrich must do what eco-left lobbyists tell him to do means his announcement is really no surprise.

However, it might come as a surprise to families in New Mexico where the unemployment rate is among the worst in the nation and gas prices are once again on the rise. Never mind the fact that Europe is now paying huge prices for natural gas because of policies like those that are supported by Heinrich.

To be sure, the fact that Heinrich supports an effort to raise costs won’t be lost on families struggling to make ends meet.
