New Mexico’s Eco-Left Scrambles to Shift Blame for Renewable’s Failures

The Rio Grande Chapter of the Sierra Club (RGSC) deserves credit for delivering some laughs today. Despite several sources admitting the failure of renewables is behind California’s terrible blackouts, the RGSC super-duper promises they aren’t the cause…without any evidence.

Instead, New Mexico’s eco-left blames, in order, offline natural gas plants (which the eco-left supported) and lack of planning by utilities. It appears radical environmentalists prefer that tactic over the truth, which would require them to look in the mirror.

Just like the California blackouts are a warning for what lies ahead in New Mexico, so is the eco-left’s response. In the future when they are confronted with the predictable reality of their actions, they will look to blame anyone but who’s responsible: themselves.
