Elizabeth Warren Dodges When Confronted About Green New Deal’s Plan To Eliminate Cows August 9, 2019 Yesterday, Senator and 2020 Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren released her “Green New Deal for Farmers.” Yes, this was just what the electorate was clamoring for – another “Green New Deal.” After announcing her new plan, Warren did what candidates typically do – hold a photo op. But it didn’t go as Warren planned. As the Daily Wire reports, during a campaign stop, an Iowa farmer confronted Warren about one ridiculous tenet “Green New Deal” proponents have been advocating for – the elimination of cows. As you might recall, the “Green New Deal” FAQ released by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s office in February discussed how to “fully get rid of farting cows.” Warren has endorsed AOC’s plan. The farmer called out this laughable policy proposal, telling Warren, “I would say we shouldn’t get rid of, you know the ‘Green New Deal’ says we need to get rid of cows, I don’t agree with that,” the farmer said. Warren’s response? “Ehhh.” A total dodge. As the Daily Wire notes, “the farmer then escalated his frustrations with Warren.” “My point is we have become so ignorant of the basic principles of biology in food production that we have said we answer them all through technology instead of letting mother earth and having respect.” The eco-left ignores basic scientific principles and the limits of technology when they propose disastrous and unaffordable policies like the “Green New Deal.” Warren and other leftists should rethink their plans after hearing from real farmers who would bear the brunt of their “Green New Deal.” Unfortunately, they’ll probably ignore them and continue to pander to the eco-left.
